We deeply regret to inform you that the Spec’s Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament that was scheduled for April 1st has been postponed. At this time, we do not have a rescheduled date but promise to have the event this year.

We apologize for the inconvenience that might result from this change. If you would still like to have this tournament in your budget for this time of year, please let us know and we can make an invoice for you. If you are already signed up, your completed registration will roll over to the later date. If you would like a full refund, please let Kylie Boaz (kylieb@specsonline.com) know.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. We truly hope we can count on your support once we’ve rescheduled.

2020 GOLF TOURNAMENT
2021 VINTAGE VIRTUOSO

Spec’s is a founding sponsor of the University of Houston Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Once a year, a huge golf tournament is held with the Hilton School Wine and Spirits Institute as our beneficiary. We have been instrumental in many scholarships and even an endowed professorship in the Beverage Management program.

In our continued effort to support our employees and their families, Spec’s has partnered with the Catholic Diocese of Galveston and Houston to provide for the education of our employees’ children. We are also proud to have a full scholarship to the University of North Texas. To date, we have had more than 100 students take part in our educational opportunities.

As a tribute to our second-generation owners and their love of music, Spec’s is also a lifetime underwriter of the famous One O’Clock Lab Band at UNT.

The Foundation’s largest fundraising event is Vintage Virtuoso, which benefits the Houston Symphony’s educational programs. Since 1994, more than $3.5 million has been raised to bring music education to the children of Houston.
